ORUBBER BUMPER to CHROME BUMPER CONVERSION

I removed the rubber bumper in preparation for fitting a '70 to '72 grille.  My first stop was the MGB Chrome Bumper Conversion website to ascertain exactly where & what to cut.  As I'm not going to use a front bumper but am, instead, going the Sebring route, I needed only cut the rubber bumper mounts from the front chassis rails.

   
(Here, just  the left side is cut.  All that remains is to weld plates over the open ends of the chassis rail.)

After cutting the bumper mounts from both chassis rails, it was time to test fit the grille using an old '73 grille.
